adding friends Cross platform

Afternoon Guys, i posted a couple of weeks back but didn't get a reply.

I'm trying to add my son as a friend on apex, he plays on a xbox and im on PS5 i can see him in a club and i'm also able to send a friends request but he doesn't get it. and its the same if he sends me one too, i never get it.

We are able to play together through the club but i was wondering if you have a solution for this problem?

we also have our own EA accounts and they are not linked.

Thanks

    Hey @cypher-hull,

Are you and your son sending those friend requests using the EA ID?

You may both need to check your Privacy settings to make sure the PSN and Xbox gamertag options are enabled as well.

"Are you and your son sending those friend requests using the EA ID?" we are just sending them via the in game requests by searching for the player

I've checked my settings and my game tags are searchable across all platforms.

I've not been able to log into my sons account (teen account) online to see his preferences, EA doesn't seem to allow it, even though he has an email and password setup.

how do i check his details and settings are correct?

I know there's a house hold section which will allow me to link a teen a account to mine, but will that cause problems when trying play online together?
