Slide-hoping is fine and it was fine in Titanfall 2.
The difference right now is that they removed the double-jump and wall running so keeping your momentum to execute it is no longer a skill factor, but simply a macro to bhop like creazy.
The macro functions the way all animation-canceling glitches do since launch in this game (Rapid PK, Melee-chain, Bhop, instant reloads on any weapon).
The issue is withing players being able to animation-cancell via external lines of code - or simply macroing the button sequence ino mouse wheel spin.
It's actually disgusting, where as in Unreal Tournament it was part of learning curve in this day and game it's just an exploit.

Oh I see so the OP is complaining about an exploit. I have seen that. The famous players is IP Man Legend. Yes it needs to dealt with.
