it works on the xbox series s to reset the video tab every time i go into the lobby, and i have the xbox resolution set to 1080p my tv native resolution, you might need to try your tv native resolution if 1080p doesnt work for you.
but in pc i found its not reproducible unless i first open apex legends, then go to nvidia control panel and set manage 3d to default then click apply, then turn off vsync then click apply, then open up apex legends and try the aim assist in the firing range its back on, then it goes away after i play 1 or 2 games when i test aim assist in the firing range after every game,
so when the aim assist goes off in the pc, i have to minimize apex legends while in the lobby, go back to nvidia control panel manage 3d, then set to default then click apply, then turn off vsync and click apply, and then in apex legends i get back my aim assist for a few games then it goes back off again. then i repeat going into the nvidia control panel while in the apex legends lobby.
idk how to turn off vsync in the xbox series s though, and on pc i have to redo these steps to get my aim assist again every game or two when i test the aim assist in the firing range after the game.
on pc sometimes i have to repeat going into the apex legends lobby the into nvidia control panel manage 3d, resetting to default clicking apply, the vsync off the click apply then in firing range getting my aim assist back. idk why sometimes i have to repeat the process but there you go.
