ALC settings sharing
So, I know some ppl (which I find weird for a shooter but that's besides the point) use the default look/aim settings control ranging from low to high (I think), but most I would assume would want to...
Thought I’d add my settings for reference, I used to play 4-5 classic on Xbox but after using linear ALC playing with a response curve higher than 3 feels very dull and slow.
Dead zone of 2 gives just enough control for long range targets without having to increase response curve and an outer threshold of 3 speeds up how fast you hit the max making it easier and faster to flick and react.
Hip fire speeds are what I found off a conversion chart to be 4 and max turning yaw on that for turning faster and making wall jumps easier.
Playing on linear I find you don’t need as high a sensitivity.
First things first, my main issue with games on PC in general on controller for years was the fact that steam overrides in game deadzone settings. I'm now a better more accurate apex player when i do play occasionally because I went into the steam controller settings and turned the deadzones to 0.. It took years of me posting on forums and asking for one person on steam discussions to finally mention this. Hopefully if any of yall are having this problem this will help. Now that i've turned these off, my ALC settings are a little more flexible but i still want them specifically tuned for my aim. These settings aren't the best but I can manage them: 0, 1, 6. - 280,180, 50, 0,0,0. - 158, 128, 0, 80, 35, 0. - ON ON - PER OPTIC - .8, 1.0, 1.0 THE REST 1.6.... AND 10 MINUTES LATER I'M STILL SEARCHING FOR A TDM MATCH!
