The reason many people pick wraith , bangalore , lifeline etc because their movement seems smooth & fast. If the movement feel of all legends becomes same many players might choose thick like gibbi & caustic even Pathfinder seems slower than wraith...

@Ac3myN1gga Yep, let's make Gib do the Naruto run, or better yet make Wraith run like she just ATE Naruto, that'll be fun to watch lol.Seriously though, their sprint speed is the same and visually it makes sense for the lighter legends to look more agile compared to big Chungus and Krampus so idk why anyone would have a problem with it

The OP isn't by any means saying some legends are faster than others, its a matter of how the run animation feels when observing it.Running as gibby feels slow and clunky despite the fact he is moving at the same speed as everyone else. It's something that effects the "feel" of the legend rather than the actual application and it can be quite off putting as stated.Amazing how something as simple as arms swinging can have such a profound effect on a players user experience. XD

@Eshshshss Bangalore also has that strafe boost.

@Ac3myN1ggaNo, it's because of the hitbox,Gibraltar is easily hit by almost every shot, medium sized legends than are like that but 10% less.And Legends like Wraith?Yeeeeeah, I totally like how I get beamed meanwhile I barely get to scrape their amor.When I die to a good wraith it usually goes as like this:My armor instantly cracked, and before I get knocked down, the only thing I am capable of is cracking their armor, that's it.(don't forget that I could also be the one taking the shot first btw, from behind or from ambush, -same outcome)Also the movement animations seem faster for the opposing side.When wraith chances directions, it's felt, when Wraith ducks, it is felt.When Gibraltar changes directions in his movement, it is sometimes so unnoticable it feels like he is literally standing still, which is what also most of them do since dodging doesn't do much horizontaly....

All legends should have same movement feel

Seriously though, their sprint speed is the same and visually it makes sense for the lighter legends to look more agile compared to big Chungus and Krampus so idk why anyone would have a problem with it

@Pretzelnutcake I am not talking about how they look visually they are fine, but when moving around they feel slowish kinda when playing with them

Height makes a difference in feel for movement. I used to drive a mustang and on the weekends would take my truck offroading. When I would leave the house and get on the highway in my truck it would feel like I was going so slow compared to my car which was significantly lower to the ground.
As a caustic main, any time I play another legend I feel like a little turbocharged kid, unless of course it is pathfinder then about the same.

@mastiffslinger That reminds me of Overwatch. I used to play relatively big heroes, and then I tried torbjorn once. It was a strange experience, as he is super short.

I think this is just a game choice that doesn’t really have much reason behind it, it just is.
