@apostolateofDOOM I'm just about done with it. I love playing with friends when they are on. But this forcing me into lobbies with 60% aim assist is not fair game play. How is it fair in ranked to be able to lock on to someone and hardly ever miss. Maybe they should hit these NA lobbies get taste of the medicine they serve.
Without console players, good luck finding games regularly. Have fun playing against all the PC hackers around and as if controllers have 60% aim assist. Im a PS5 player and glad we only play pc players if there is a PC player in my team, as M&Ķ has way more of an advantage then a controller player.
If you think its easier, try playing with a control and you will see control players have such a disadvantage against PC players. Cant loot while moving, one button to open doors, revive, reload get banners, pick up weapons. See how hard it is when everything is close buy and your in a fight against a PC player with a mastiff.
- @johnmiceter Uhhh we never had issues finding matches. That is a weird thing to say. Even when we could opt out we still were in-game within seconds.
I don't care about controls movement whatever argument can be thrown up means nothing to me. I don't want to play against aim assist in a competitive game. We want to play against our platform players. In ranked it means all the difference in up-close fights. I don't care if someone thinks they could outrun or out move a gun that locks onto you and lasers you. Any big-time pro player will even say this. They even complain about it...- @E9ine_AC My brother has played PC ranked for a long time (close to 1 year) and he got sick of it saying, its hard to find games and when you do, he always ran into hackers.
He is a Predator on PC and on Console (or was on console) now he is back on console again because he is over it. - @E9ine_AC Btw, try using a controller on PC and see how much aim assist you get. You can only assume its a locked on laser, but do it and find out. Dont go off other peoples opinions until you try it.
It's not about advantages and disadvantages. It's about competitive integrity, mouse users work so hard to fine-tune their aim and have to go up against aim assist that helps controller players massively in close range. Don't say mouse has better movement and mid-range aim, while the game is essentially 50% just close range.
Take for example a person who has two legs and is put in a race with a person with amputated legs on a wheelchair with motorized controls. Doesn't matter who wins, it's not fair for BOTH sides. Just like how KBM users can use their whole hand while controller players can only use their thumb, but they shouldn't be competing with each other in the first place!
The bottom line is you are getting some help, doesn't matter if it's minute or you can only use your thumb(you chose to do it), from outside while KBM users have to 100% rely on their hand movement.
What the game needs is input segregation. Let controller players play with their own, and KBM users restricted to PC lobbies only. And also remove input restriction based on platform i.e Console players aren't allowed to use KBM but many of them want to. That's the only way it's ever gonna be fair for BOTH controller and KBM players. Emphasis on *both*
