Am I doing as poorly as I think?

I've played about 200 games and sadly spent more time waiting for matchmaking than actually in game. My k/d is 0.1 and I'm averaging about 92 damage. Somehow I have 3 wins, two of which I wish I coul...

I wouldn't really say that, personally. I definitely enjoyed the game back when I started playing. One big difference being, I started playing at launch, so the competition was probably much easier, allowing me to improve at a decent rate. Repetition is key though, I would say. I honestly couldn't tell you how many matches I played before I finally started getting wins somewhat consistently.

I just have fun gaming in general, whether it be solo or with my buddies. I've been gaming since the 90's, so the days where I cared about stats are long gone. If I enjoy a game, I play it. Apex obviously has its fair share of problems, but I still have fun when I play, and I still get destroyed a good 25% of the time, Lol

    The problem with trying out legends is that you have to unlock them first. I've manage to unlock one after 150+ games. Sure you can look up recommendations and stuff, but that doesn't change how long it takes just to be able to try out a legend you may not even like using. Add to that the possibility of not being able to choose a given legend when trying to play a game.

      Dude. I played til lvl 100+. I didn't know how to unlock legends. 

      I was so desperate want to play caustic. But i don't know how. LOL!

      Until S0 was over, I found out that you can unlock for free. LOL!

      I've been playing all the basic characters and they are all good.

      I might even say, better than those newer ones(legends).

      I miss the lifeline revive block shield. (Was the block shield in S0?)

      Level Up slowly, enjoy the basic legends 1st , as you accumulate points.

      Unlock which ever you think you want to play, if its not good then you can go back to basic legends.

      I unlock all the legends but I don't play them. LOL! 

      Look at 'ShivFPS', he mostly play on 'bangalore'. The basic legends. 

      Dude, eventually you will get there. Give it time. 

      I can tell you that I'm not good at FPS but I enjoy it.

        I'm not suggesting there's anything wrong with the legends available by default. I'm just saying that it has been suggested that other legends may be more fun or suitable for different play styles.
