Am i the only one who finds a stock Mastiff a * weapon?

I don't like it much, the horizontal spread pattern isn't my favorite thing, and yeah, it fires very slowly.  On the new game mode, I've even had a gold mastiff and found it underwhelming.  Would rather have an EVA-8 if you can find the choke.  Shotguns in general aren't so great since they moved Peacekeeper to late game drops.  You're better off with other guns.

Still, hey, if it's early game, a Mastiff to the face is going to do the job.

Definitely not alone in this.  I was really mad they swapped Peacekeeper and Mastiff.  No lie, I use the Mozambique over the Mastiff. lol

Mastiff requires you to get much MUCH closer to your enemy in order for it to be effective with its low projectile velocity and horizontal spread. I usually skip it and grab the EVA 8 instead.

You've never known true rage until you get downed by one seven damage pellet from an EVA shell from an enemy 200 meters away from you.
