The majority of people do appreciate how good the game is but just because they do appreciate it doesn't mean they can't be critical of it. I hate BR games but then Apex came along and metaphorically swept me off my feet and now I'm level 100 and can't play any other game without wanting to hop on to Apex again an hour later. I love this game, it's an amazing game but a masterpiece it certainly is not.
The game isn't perfect so I'm critical of its imperfections because I want it to be perfect. There's nothing wrong with that.
And the game does have some horrid imperfections that need to be seen to. The greedy economy, the hitboxes on smaller enemies to minor things such as Death icons covering enemies at a distance, square button doing everything on PS4 to the point where you can't reload if you're standing near anything else that uses the square button as a command prompt. It has a whole wealth of imperfections yes and being critical of them brings those imperfections to the attention of those who can do something about it.
I totally agree with everything you said. You are certainly not the type of player this post was aimed at. Constructive criticism from someone who has played numerous hours is 100% necessary. The post is generally aimed at the hundreds of cheater posts and nerf everything coz it beat me crew. I’m about level 50 odd and have loads of view points on this game both positive and negative, all I’m saying is give them a chance to sort it. Don’t expect everything to be ironed out within 1 patch as it’s just not realistic. I guess reading most of the forum posts doesn’t represent most of the player base generally anyway.
