Seriously tho, all the game forums are full of whiny kids.
These "Whiny kids" as you call them are the ones calling out EA on a poor job done. The only thing they did was ban a bunch of accounts, oh boy, such a great thing but what's this?
*cheater makes a new e-mail account, signs up, and is back in the game within less than 10mins*
A cheater isn't going to care about the loss of progress, they aren't going to care about being banned, because the only thing they care about is getting that kill count for bragging rights at the start of every match.
What they should of done was hire someone to make a custom anti-cheat software engine. Blizzard has one in all their games, So does Square Enix. So why doesn't EA?
Simple: It. Costs. Them. Money.
And its no secret that EA's priorities are:
1. Make Money
2. Find new ways to earn more money
3. Hire some underpaid smuck to tell everyone "We're doing all we can about this hacker problem!"

Precisely. I was floored when I saw that EA and Respwn used EAC for Apex Legends. I expect EAC in games like Dead by Daylight (Behavior) or Paladins, Smite, and Realm Royale (Hi-Rez), as those studios aren't really one of the big boys.
But a company like EA? No.
As far as whether or not they did a good job? I don't know . . . I guess so. I mean, battle royales really aren't my thing, and Apex didn't do much to change that. While the Legends are cool, I already get that in Overwatch and Paladins, and to a degree in Realm Royale (I mess around in that with my kid). The gun play just strikes me as pretty much every other major shooter out there, and I don't really enjoy that genre to begin with.
I suppose Apex would easily appeal to people who enjoyed the gun play from things like CoD or CSGO but might not otherwise enjoy BR games. I can see the appeal for them. For me, though, who doesn't like the CoD and CSGO games, I already get deeper team play and unique hero kits in Overwatch and Paladins. So, yeah, Respawn did do a decent job on Apex, it just isn't for me.
