anti cheat idea
The aim assist has a rotating reticle, and the anti recoil could have a device reading the controller or mouse and going into the special port on the pc or game console and showing the controller or ...
Tbh, that would kind of need quite a lot of work from many companies, personally I find it unrealistic.
People will find ways to bypass it (let's go back to the old age of hardware hacking Wii's)
Then they have to physically make a new model that makes sure this exploit isn't usable anymore.
So will the game ban any older devices and only allow users that have the latest console to play?
Personally think that this would honestly kind of break down quite quickly.
i dont see how you can test for anti recoil without being able to both tamper robotically with the laser or optical tracer on the mouse as well as test for actual movement then correlate it with the game.
theres something on the mouse to the console / pc that does this measurement and passes it onto the anti cheat in the game.
right now the console uses just a single connection to the pc or console and this is hacked.
to make it simple maybe i would attach a dongle onto the controller or mouse and this is given invisible lights that flash the buttons moved on the mouse or controller and this is read by bluetooth or a camera or both and this is fed into a anti cheat.
just put the dongle to poke out of the mouse or controller and not the hands of the player. give it drm so companies cant mess with it legally.
Though by introducing that you're making it a requirement to own hardware to play the game.
This means that all hardware that currently exists cannot be used anymore as games set the new anti-tamper devices as a requirement. (Not all hardware ATM will support this either)
Not only would this cost a lot of money for gamers, it would create a gigantic amount of e-waste.
Once users find a way to bypass these anti-tamper devices it means that these companies have to create new hardware.
This means that gamers have to buy the new hardware otherwise they can't play the game.
There's a reason why this isn't being done anymore.
in the game if you are at the mercy of the enemy and they take advantage of you you die, afaik we arent dead yet the hackers have full control of the one port to the machine via mouse or controller. two or more ports where one of those ports are protected and mean something to stop these hackers is a way to combat this death.
im not farmed im a farmer, and so i think this is a viable way to farm cheaters. maybe im wrong but there you go.
