Any hope for Seer?

@Cheese9Man I know.  At a certain point, I have to just simply say the game is what it is and it simply isn't for me anymore.  These are all threads about our personal wishes so I'm going to go on expressing mine, but I very well know they will never delete Seer, or King's Canyon.

But Seer was the straw that broke my back.  I've absolutely had it with scan abilities (know where everybody is all the time) and the move to vertical combat, without seemingly so much as a tiny though to how those things would negatively impact the game.  You can't nerf a bad ability, it will always be bad.   There are many problems with Apex, but the scanning and making old characters useless is what's got me on my search for something better.  I can simply say I might have been complaining about things in Season 4 or 5 but I wasn't looking for a better BR to play.

@Cro_PitttThe only one I can think of that feels like it was “neglected” is Lifeline. The other OG legends are really strong.

I honestly think Seer is quite balanced right now, and a great support! He's just overshadowed by a lot of the competition.

He's incredible paired with Bangalore, I think it's just easy to get carried away with his heart beat sensor and you forget to use your actual eyes.

Only thing I would add is a small QoL which is to add 1 damage back to his tactical so you get the hit-marker back when you get someone in the scan.

I think the 'problem' with Seer was that when he came out, everyone wanted to give him a go (which is only natural). This lead to lobbies with 20 Seers in it. During a fight, the screen would be come a complete mess of Seer's tacticals and ults. It was terrible, and led to people screaming 'Seer is OP!' as opposed to 'Too many people are playing Seer!' which is what was actually happening. So, to stop people abandoning Apex they gave Seer several nerfs. As a result, Seer is now not that attractive a legend.

His lines are dumb too. "Drop here, 'tis Beautiful!" - vomit.

@Cheese9Man Yeah i agree that's why i'm asking him. Also he mentioned defensive legends being trash. I don't think Gibby, Caustic and (now)  Wattson are that bad lol, even Rampart is not that useless compared to how she was before.

What makes ppl think that Seer's abilities being nerfed is the main reason that he is rarely used today and in the bottom tier for legends?

Almost every apex player I know, stopped using him sorely based on the fact that using a legend that wallhacks says something about you as a player. My friends refuse to use him because they feel like they are cheating or using a crutch or feel others look down upon them for resorting to a legend that hacks to play. Using a Seer, to some says -  "I suck and have to use a legend with built in hacks to be good."  I personally have no respect for anyone that uses a Seer period...(go ahead, personal attacks welcome). 

Scanning abilities are not the problem when made right and made to be used in a way that doesn't support hacking or breaks the game. Bloodhound is proof of that. He has always had scanning abilities yet is not OP and his abilities come at a cost. I personally feel BH is balanced beautifully. 

I also don't feel Seer's tac or ult is an issue at all at this point. His PASSIVE is still and no matter what Respawn Devs try to do with it - it will always be broken, a mess, absurd, ridiculous, pathetic and down right sickening. Still to this day.... the so called nerf they did to his passive was nothing! It did nothing, it made no difference....you can still with the touch of one button (one you use constantly) can wallhack well past 75 meters 360. Has anyone actually spectated someone using a Seer?? Do you see how pathetic and greasy it is and looks to see the person hitting aim and doing a quick 360 every couple seconds? I haven't met a skilled player that uses Seer and more so that wants to resort to using a Seer. Integrity believe it or not DOES matter to a lot of online gamers. 

The Dev that made him and more so, who thought up his passive, should be ashamed, fired and has no business being in the gaming design industry - FACTS. Whomever it was - you disgust me!

So before you go assuming Seer isn't used cause he has been nerfed to the ground - think again. First time I used him, my partner and I won...it was just stupid, we knew where everyone was at all times...Tactical consideration was gone! The skill needed to be good and navigate properly to come out of a fire fight was gone! The whole match felt that way - might as well have been using real hacks to wipe the competition. It wasn't even fun. After we won, we felt like a couple of *, and swore we would never use him again. We don't wanna win that way - its the same reason we don't use hacks, or want to use hacks. We want to earn our wins fairly and with integrity and some form of honor. However not all feel that way clearly - As Apex is riddled with hackers and cheaters. It surprises me that more of these douche bags don't use Seer more often. 

Seer and Seer's passive is the sole reason I lost faith in Respawn Dev team! It is also the reason I did not vote for Respawn for the awards they were nominated for. It is also the reason I no longer get excited for new legends being made and added, out of fear of the same * Seer brought to the game. I feel the Devs are running out of ideas for abilities and I am certain at some point we will see more Hacks as legend abilities in the future. No body seems to learn from their mistakes these days.

Nah I doubt that. People will do everything to get wins and the upper hand (and even use cheats just to win games). How about BH players?

Seer is an atrocious character design.  Valkyrie basically already added a soft wall hack and flight.  Now I like Valkyrie as a character but if you add that, then you have to seriously change the flaws you just also designed into characters that depend on people being on the ground or having to climb to get their height.

But, no, instead, Moar Wallhack is added.

People doing what they need to win doesn't mean they don't have standards.  Seer is hot trash as a design, and that's why nerfing doesn't matter for some.  Now, sure, I believe his selection dropped off because he was nerfed.  At the same time, it doesn't change that he's disgusting as a concept.

@Cheese9Manthx for info, does Seer still see enemy HP when you ads?

The ticks from the heart beat sensor come a bit faster if the enemy is low on HP, however I do not know what numerical values apply.  It has never showed Seer the enemies' HP.

@pandareno1999I remember you used to see like the literal health bars? without the numbers, but you still had a pretty good idea

@pandareno1999tactical? I saw clips of people playing seer literally aiming down sights and after like few seconds they saw enemy's health and shield bar without using tactical or ulty

@damsonwhufndthis You're mistaken. Of his abilities, only the tactical produces that effect.  Don't take my word for it. You can see for yourself in the firing range.
