just see a lot of negativity but honestly thinking about how the game used to be an the improvements they have made i am having a lot of fun(like evo shields are just so much better than how shields used to be) enjoying fuse a lot, enjoying caustic a lot and really enjoying learning rampart, i mean yes apex has its issues but i am still having fun

@Swarth2300 Apex at its core is definitely fun but a lot of small issues eventually add up to be a big messy game. I think the game definitely needs something refreshing like a new map coming next season. Until now, I still can’t pick a legend in 80% of the games.

@Swarth2300Apex as a system outside of matchmaking has drastically improved. Many of the pain points in the bad map design are smoothed over too. However, the matchmaking algorithm and prejudiced loot system prevents any and all enjoyment in this game. Games where I get a full kit I go far, only to be killed by preds or cheaters. When I have competent teammates and not stupid bot behaving noobs (or just bots, but I'll never be able to prove it) I either match their kills and damage or far outshine them. Even a player who can only crack a shield on my team allows me to clean out enemy teams, but most of the time I have teammates who engage when they shouldn't, don't respond to pings, and can't aim or refuse to. I'm convinced this is on purpose.Games where I land with 298341297482975429785928549275927845 P2020s 4 games in a row aren't fun. I'm convinced that the entire mission of Apex Legends is to feed average players to the highly skilled for youtube and twitch hype and literally nothing more. The entire business model revolves around exploiting players for whales.Overwatch admitted that they would match one player with 5 underskilled players to even out the skill level in order to match with an enemy team of much higher skill than the 5. This is partly why the game died so fast. Call of Duty World War 2 also has a system where people who bought DLC are given easier lobbies. Now that everything is a 'games as a service' model, there's no telling what level of player exploitation is going on or how unfair the matchmaking really is, and because the game doesn't really display skill level numbers, there won't be a way to know unless its leaked.I'm not giving EA any money, that's for sure. I hope Respawn rots. Too many stupid people buying their products though.

I enjoy it, but i would enjoy it more if i didnt have to play vs an unfair system 😉

but regardless I think one of the reasons why this game is unenjoyable is because I dont play it consistantly and end up in low ranks with bad players

@Swarth2300 I concur. I have been playing since right around launch, and I actually like a lot of the changes that have come along the way. I am not blind to the current issues (servers/balancing etc), but I definitely still enjoy playing Apex when I'm on. I wish my two buddies would get off their CoD kick though, because solo-queueing is getting old, Lmao

No, i mutch prefer back when i played before seasons were even a thing when it first launched. Loved the game back then but stopped playing since until now, mostly due to me now having a pc and wanting to try find a decent fps and this ticked all the boxes until sbmm randomly kicked in and now its unplayable. im level 18 with 3 wins being put in games with people ranging from level 100 upwards of level 500 all with likely hundreds of wins.
i dont get why sbmm is even in casual, ranked i understand and im not entirely against sbmm as a thing. I just wish i could play casually when i dont feel like having to tryhard which is impossible even in 'casual' modes. Ive always loved fps and been a competitive player but never once have i wanted to spend 100% of my time playing having to try just to get to top 5 let alone get a decent damage game. Its mindbogglingly stupid that my casual games are actually harder then ranked as well for some unkown reason.

The game brings me more frustration due to ongoing issues, than it brings me joy.
Definitely don’t pick it up as often….Respawn is walking on thin ice, and the fact they tweet as if nothing is even wrong with the game, is really insulting to me.
Rank split reset, BP finished, game plagued with issues, not sure I’ll be playing much until S11 comes around.
