Apex Clubs ideas: Club League

I think it's a great idea to utilize this club feature and make playing with players from your club more meaningful.

Just like tournaments, with a little differences:

  • A club league where you rank your club from the server you're playing on.
  • A season long league.
  • Exclusive rewards only for 1st, 2nd, 3rd ranked clubs on each server. Variant rewards for top 10, top 20 and so on.

How to earn club points:

  • Earn points to climb up Club Rank.
  • Points gain similar to ranked mode. Except, you can't lose points, regardless where you finished a match.
  • Every match entry gives you 1 Club Points (or more)
  • All modes can be used to gain Club Points. (Unranked mode, Ranked mode, LTM modes) but;
  • You can only earn club points for your club when you're with a stacked premade (3 players in unranked/ranked mode, 2 players in duo) and the players are from your club.
  • Solo queue not gonna earn you any points for your club rank progression.

Technical:

  • Club League won't affect matchmaking/queue times. SBMM will.
  • Playing Club League will gives you more XP in general.

This can make playing with your clubmates more rewarding and improves relationship. Also, you got nothing to lose.

Throw in some of your ideas too!

  • @bosourd Exactly, cause without this implementation it’ll just be a gimmick, just like holo sprays.

Lots of games have such a feature but it’s usually so baseless that I always wonder why they even did it. It’s nothing at all like guilds in MMORPGs which is sad cause they’ve been around since the 2000’s and do it better than games do clubs/clans nowadays

@Koochi-Q Oh dang yes, I used to play mobas and the squad feature did nothing but a tag before our username lol
  • @bosourd Had the same in CoDs and Rocket League. Always just a random name with ‘Lolz’ as the 4 letters displayed. Me and few buddies never did anything with it since it almost never really did anything until later CoDs actually took it steps further.
