Apex coins price question?

Why is the price on apex coins so expensive on my version? I'm at Philippines which is not pretty in economics but how come in other countries it's 9.99$ but in my game its 16$ for the cheapest one? This intended to suck out my wallet real hard or am I *?

    Microtransactions are regional to countries so the value of your local currency depends on how much you pay verses someone that lives in a different country. I’m in Australia and for 1k of ingame coins I would pay $11.95 Australian Dollars. These prices vary from country to country

    In philippines we do not earn as much as other countires so in most games and stores the prices are lower than america... this is the only game I’ve seen making it more expensive lol
