Is anyone getting this message? (connection to server timed out - code wheel/net- see ea for additional info) It kicks me out mid game and not too sure what to do about it. never had this issue until yesterday and still in doing it the next day. I tried reinstalling and it didn't work and also tried changing my dns and didnt work. I'm on steam/origin, any ideas please??

Hi @Johnijuana Can we start with the following and check for any improvements? Connection and Advance Connection Guides Untick the options in LAN Settings (make sure nothing is checked under Proxy Server) Change DNS settings (You can use the public google DNS primary: 8.8.8.8, secondary: 8.8.4.4, unless there is a different DNS you would rather use) Check your Anti-virus, other Security Sofware, and Modem/router settings for network interferance= Switch from Wi-Fi to ethernet, or if unable move closer to your router.

@JohnijuanaNot that one, mine keeps telling me my account isn't permitted to play, but after a few attempts at signing in and out it let's me in.

@XxColdFangxX Can you try the steps above? Also to check do you get any other messages or does just completely restarting get you in eventually?

@EA_IlliumConnection and advanced connection are a bit of a bust on this.My router is good, I have a high speed internet connection and I'm always connected to an ethernet.I'm not going to touch any of my dns settings as I've already had to mess with them to make sure they were open so I could play with one of my friends.Anti virus or security software isn't an issue as I am on Xbox one.I do not get any other messages and after a few tries of clicking the sign out and signing back it, it let's me get past the sign in screen. (Attempts vary.)

Does xbox really require a subscription for every user on a console? That sounds like a ripoff. Sony only requires one subscription per console.

Yup. Unless they changed they too and I didn't know. My x used to share a console with me and while they didn't have to rebuy the games because of game share, their account wasn't the same as my account, so they had to buy a membership.

I thought ps was the same?? I couldn't even play games on the same ps console my x had with out rebuying them.

@EA_Illium Xbox.
So I tried doing a guest account on my Xbox one but as soon as I booted up apex the guest account just disappeared but the good news is I was able to log in without any issue.
