@Asmodeus566 @dSKyNafinchin Any possible reasons why Respawn doesn’t want it back? Did it promote too much camping since it’s all about placement?

I do not know why it was shelfed.

But what is the difference from Ranked play in regards to "Camping" or for that matter ALGS play and 'Camping"?

In Ranked or ALGS getting to top 5 is not about camping, it is about strategy, knowing the map, knowing when to take a fight or tactically maneuver away from a bad situation and having the gun and movement control to get the job done when needed, mixed in with a little luck.

The term camping is for players that do not know better.

By the way back in season 1, I was target practice for other players.

@Asmodeus566 I consider camping to be people that will literally crouch and hide in a corner inside a building, ADS'd on the door/stair in front of them, waiting for final circle or whatever they're waiting for. I've never seen pro teams do that. They'll hold down an area, and pick fights to take and whatnot, like you said, but I've never seen them set up camp and start a bonfire XD

  Agreed and exactly what I meant. However there are so many players that think that a team that is holding down an area for defense, or gatekeeping are campers when they are indeed playing strategically.

    @Asmodeus566 This is very true! I've noticed a lot of people just like to use an excuse (HACKER!! CAMPER!! etc..) when they get killed, instead of admitting that they were bested by another player. There's definitely a difference between camping and strategy

@dSKyNafinchin I was passing by a building on Kings Canyon in pubs and heard a noise. Went to check inside the building, a whole team sitting behind amped walls and Sheila in a corner....
