Apex Legend Mobile

I too would like to see another mobile version of Apex pretty soon since it was being sunset during the time I got into apex.  You mention cross platform being the wrong decision, I'm not sure, but Fortnite manages to pull off a mobile version pretty well that goes into lobbies side by side with console and PC players.  When on your phone you are given free automatic shooting (hold down the button to fire multiple bullets) to make up for the drawback of being on a phone as opposed to PC or console.  I had to play Fortnite on my phone a couple weeks to finish my battle pass when my internet router malfunctioned, and it was hard to get used to at first, but once I did I thought it was a lot of fun.  I'm wondering if Apex couldn't do something like that with a transparent controller on the screen, hopefully people wouldn't try to find exploits though.  It seems like Farlight84 (a copycat game of Apex Legends) had a mobile version, so it should be possible.
