Can yall please get rid of this stupid thing? It sucks when your team abandons you and I'm waiting for nothing.

You also need to take into account the fact that the map is brand new and most of us are way slower than usual, learning this huge map as we play.
With all the games I played my team was attacking a squad next thing I know they decided to run leaving me stranded with a full squad. It happened 2 of the three times. The third was when my teammate was away from the game and I decided to leave since I got no response
The leaver penalty is the best feature of Season 3. Leave it. The only change they should make is if a teammate grabs your banner and doesn't respawn you within a minute or two, then you can leave without penalty. Two minutes out of your day isn't much. Stick with your team and you'll either win or lose. Simple.
It goes both ways. I was in a game yesterday where the third teammate in our squad would not fight anyone. After the 2 of us were down, he got our banners, then went into a building a hid. He would not even attempt to respawn or engage the enemy. Then when the circle closed, he would find another house on the edge, and get in and hide. Not moving until the circle closed. Repeat for whole match until the circle was small enough that someone saw him and a squad killed him. You should not be penalized for leaving a match like that early. He was clearly just trolling us.
I agree with a previous poster that once you die, not are downed but actually die, you should be able to leave after say 2 minutes with no penalty. Regardless of if your teammate has your banner or not.
Yeah I think that's the only fair way to do it. I've noticed less people leaving which is awesome. But I also don't want a hostile community by making them watch a camping teammate. Put a limit on it even if your teammate has your banner. Problem solved.
@jonesy0218 Mhhhh, I don't think that's the best way. The first day of Season 3 I had one of my teammates lasered and the other with no bullets, so we had to sneak up past a very fierce fight (I think there were like 4-5 teams chasing each other in one of the tall building areas) to the only valid respawn beacon that was pretty far away. It took like 4 minutes, but in the end it took us one shot short of winning the match. The killed teammate thought at first that I'm chickening out when not running immediately to the respawn beacon, but seconds later he spectated me going unnoticed literally 5 feet behind a full squad. He was the first to gg at the end and my almost 1k damage was enough proof to him that I'm not afraid to pull the trigger, but I'm sure he would've left after the first 2 minutes, as things really looked hopeless.
@DoYaSeeMe But it's the only fair way to do it, especially if there's no mic. You can't expect someone to assume you're going to travel four minutes to a respawn beacon... It's not realistic. I think the timer is a perfect addition.
Wow i rememberd my password haha just for this.alright i love apex play it everyday when i get out of work.i just got timed out for 8 min 30 sec for leaving a bit early i cant help it i want to play the game not dik around i dont wanna wait and see all the * unfold children on my squad who obviously cant play,trolls all sorts of reasons im just not happy with it! it honestly makes me not wanna play.if apex dont wanna lose anyone like me then fix this *.i have had no problems with ppl leaving early its there loss honestly and u gotta pilfer through when it comes to millons of random ppl u have no clue about somtimes a person makes me uncomfortable i should not be penalized for that * or if my crew just plain * sucks i use pre built squads most of the time anyway but still not happy ughhh..
- @Michaelshawn55 You do realize that leaver penalties are only in ranked matches, right? If you have such a big problem with this penalty, why don't you just play regular?
I'm not really one to quit so I've not had this issue and it doesn't bother me as such, out of interest...can you leave if your respawn beacon timer runs out?

I know one thing. I payed for this game without the abandon penalty, remove it please or i will remove EA and Origin from my pc. Thank you.
Is it true you won't get a penality if you leave when your banner timer runs out? Would help a lot if it was.
And yeah they should keep it but change one thing, getting banned from other mode, like i get trollled and i choose to leave because the mates won't play but i choose and i accept the ranked ban for said time, but i want to play the event mode for the time i have to wait.
