Can we revert Caustic's canister nerf, it's stupid I can't win fights.... why would you nerf a character that has the lowest play and win rate this season?I play this game cause of abilities, you're forcing caustic to be a defensive character and cant do anything else....Can no longer win fights running into bunker cause people shoot out the traps so God damn quick. It's not fun.

@TorridestJet568 Agreed, the canisters are basically useless now aside from camping a building in which you can set up in... Even in those situations they have limited value IMO.I quit playing him. The last time I did I tossed a trap down next to a player who was picking up loot.He proceeds to pick up gun 2 stacks of ammo and then shoots down the trap. I start trying to box him and during that process tossed down 2 more traps. Not one was activated and I was dead.It was really bad, to the point I have not played caustic again. He has some of the worst abilities in the game combined with the second worst hit box in the game. You then have the legends who have the best hit boxes in the game combined with the best abilities in the game.

@DarthValtrex Gotta have to disagree here, while i think the Caustix nerf was bad design and unwarranted, Caustic had one of the best universal abilities in the game. My win rate and K&D significantly improved since i picked him up as my main back in S2. But nerfing him into a niche role while completely ignoring his downsides into a pure camper is a bad move imo.

Yeaah it's just annoyance frankly, I hardly play him since they implemented this change, it's screwed my whole caustic play style.If I wanted to camp for 20 minutes I'd play warzone.

@matzesingtI think you're missing the point that so many of us have tried to make. Caustic is at a huge disadvantage from the start having the second largest hit box. Toss in that he has some of the weakest abilities in the game. It is turned him into a legend who's just remotely close to being competitive outside of a very few and rare circumstances. It's not about his gas winning fights, it's about him having abilities that help him. Every legend has abilities that help, whether it's Wraith, Gibi, LL or the like.. All legends have viable abilities that help them win or at the very least prevent them from losing one by allowing them to make an exit. Caustic does not, his traps don't even slow down teams who are chasing you.Fortify a building? I can throw nades into it and set off the traps or just flat out shoot them down, until the caustic is out of traps.Consider that it's now so easy to shoot down gas traps, that the few caustic mains I know avoid Bunker.. That used to be one of the rare areas caustic shined.I like caustic being big and powerful legend. But his abilities should really shine and compensate for the huge target that he is. I have no issue 1 clipping a caustic with a 99, but it typically takes 2 clips for me to drop a wraith.

That's EXACTLY problem, you don't need to aim to win the battle with Caustic anymore.Everything is SO HUGE, his trap is HUGE, Caustic is HUGE, you can close your eyes, you can kill him easily.

@BigBlackCaustic Point taken, I don't main him but definitely played him a lot this season until the nerf to canisters. I've tried it a few times but just get frustrated with how easily the canisters are shot down. I don't expect them to win fights for me, but I would like to be able to at least control the flow of the fight and areas around me with them.

@DarthValtrex Caustic is not an easy Legend to learn, especially offensively. Thats why people used to camp with him a lot even before the nerf.

I rarely came across other Caustics that used aggressive tactics, only a few times. Its strange that this aspect was the one that got nerfed when most people i saw complaining always talked about him camping.

@BigBlackCaustic Agreed. My win rate went up when I switched from path to caustic in season 4.

The rotating barrels not going thru windows is annoying as hell now tho.

I'm #3 in OCE 20k kills on caustic. I have 400 season 5 wins. But this nerf is ridiculous

@MandatoryIDtag point is if players cant win a fight as caustic cuz they cant throw traps in enemys face then they simply cant play fps...if you can only win a fight when you * the enemy before then you actually need to practise some aiming 😉
