Apex Legends: Champion Edition Issue

For the Apex Legends: Champion Edition that is 40 dollars, I feel as if upcoming legends should be included with the pack since it's a pretty big investment into a game that is free to play. I understand that you can still play the game to eventually unlock legends for free, but shouldn't there be some form of a boost in legend token gain so we could get legends quicker? I mean, for a 40 dollar purchase, you might as well be paying for the whole game.

@kaivexer At what point do they stop giving legends?

Also you need to understand that the legends are free to unlock through relatively low gameplay time. The real "value" are the legendary skins which would normally be $18 each.
