Apex Legends Hacks
There is a sizable increase in the number of individuals that hack in Apex Legends, and due to how obscure the reporting feature EA provides is, I am forced to make a thread such as this. DISCLAIM...
It seems the one shot thing is happening to more people then just me now too.
I had full health and full purple armor with a blue helmet, someone I could not see killed me in one shot.
I did not think that was a thing in this game?
Maybe its a glitch with the purple armor?? Another poster had a very similar issue, wearing purple armor, but he also had a purple helmet and got one shot by the heavy hand gun, whats it called?
Please confirm if any guns can one shot through purple armor and blue helmet.
To answer your 1 shot weapon question on page 1.. The legendary server drop sniper Kraber, will 1 shot head shot enemies. My source is myself doing so to a lvl 2 blue helm and lvl 3 purple helm. enemy. I have yet to land one on a lvl 4 gold helm. It's the only weapon that I have 1 shot down an armored enemy within my 200 hours. Another thing I've come to learn that may affect this.. is the client-side hit reg. So if you/enemy are high ping, its possible you may be hit with a few shots that seem to be a 1 hit, once the server catches up.
A little light googling produced one website reporting " Netcode analysis of Apex Legends shows major issues with tickrate and lag compensation. " Which caused so many problems in PUBG as well.
All that said, there is rampant hacking going on. It's so bad, just like PUBG, that many things that are client/server related get lumped in the hack category as well. Which is not the players fault.
Gold sniper will take you down in one hit
For the ones being one shotted by people with blue helmets, you are getting ting head shotted by a kraeber most likely . There is no hacks to make people do more dmg. It is all on the weapons. As far as aimboy and teleporting etc. These things do happen in the game, and alot of the time it is very clear especially in the case of aimbotting. Pros miss shots all the time more then you would think. As far as wall hacks are concerned that's something you gotta watch the player after he's killed you to really confirm. People always scream bloody murder when they think they are in a spot that has no angle on them. This is simply not the case. I get mad when I lose all the time. But I don't call anyone cheating ever unless I realllllllly feel like something was strange then I'll watch him for a minute quickly most the time it's just a skilled player and I sucked.
Also remember that armor and helmet have nothing to do with each other. They wrok as two whole seprsepa systems
I'm not touching this game with a 10ft pole until they're gone. Not logging in to outplay 3 botters, then die to another one who was camping that seeks me out when I'm popping a cell, abusing walls. They're not skilled at all, they're pointing in a direction and holding leftclick, then the crosshair is magically aiming for them. Other players have to aim and lose positioning / movement by needing to focus on the target. All decent players miss shots, that's the point of playing fps's and that's how you can tell. But bots can just hold it down while running/sliding/jumping cause the program accounts for recoil, land every shot 100% accuracy. So yea.. its especially annoying and very obvious in Apex.
Last game I played was against a trio that camped runoff, waited for me to turn the corner and all three of them lasered me, facing the same direction. If you're dead quiet then get instantly lasered, you can bet they're just tracking you the entire time with walls.
And why do they get defended with no ban? We're all aware of them. It's evident they're all over the server.
The problem is EA cannot go through every single report. They say they take all reports seriously, but there is no way that they are checking every single report. Maybe they check the names that get multiple reports which would make sense, but I don't buy the nonsense that they are taking it seriously.
