Apex Legends if you leave in-game should there be a punishment?

If someone leaves in the middle of a ranked match then they get penalised by way of not being able to play for 10 minutes. I agree that people leaving when they get knocked is poor form and they should introduce some form of penalty to non ranked matches as it is extremely  annoying when a player just quits! It’s even worse when they quit before the game has even started!
