- @GRiPSViGiL It doesnt dampen recoil tho from what I have seen. It slows aiming when moving through. Recoil still flies all over once you start shooting.
- @Popa2caps Quick fix turn off cross-platform and controller support.
honestly true
Xbox, PS4, PC, or Switch if it's close range and I got a Spitfire then you're going down sucker. I could see Mastiff on console having an advantage against all shottys on PC.
@soccerking122 Yes but the OP literally stated he was playing on a console in a follow up post, it's a seriously invalid complaint in this particular case.
It would be cool if console could enable knm and play in PC lobbies, and pc players using controller be matched into console lobbies also.
It would settle this whole thing for good....probably not so simple to implement though.
@GRiPSViGiL yeah, in a pc lobby that is problematic....however in a console lobby it isn't. There is no advantage if both users are controller, which is why I'm quite cynical of this whole complaint.

This is why controller players have absolutely taken over the pro scene. Literally every single tournament winner consists of 3 controller players, because it makes it so much easier to kill people.
Oh wait.... i see someone saying it only slows aim over an enemy.. thats not trueyour caracter turns along aswell either left or right char turns around its Axel making moving and aiming op, not just aiming its move assist aswell.
- CCbathwater5 years agoSeasoned Ace@MandatoryIDtag Yeah, no. You can have your controller PC players in their own lobby, but don't mix PC players in console lobbies until PC gets the heavy cheating under control.

No, I was correct, I'm talking about aim assistance. "Aim Assist" used in the general form is a generic terminology (Each specific use of "Aim Assist" is used differently between titles).
Apex Legends consists of two unique aim assists (could be possible to have more).
One is aim sensitive slowdown (The user's aim slows down in the vicinity of the opponent).
Two is what I like to call gravity well (It's movement tracked assistants that can lead to aim movement.
I'm basically making a comment towards Apex Legends (console port) w/ it's over abundant aim assist, While also comparing Halo as it too has an abundant amount of aim assist.
