apex legends players using voice chat to be toxic and avoid bans

Why hasn't apex legends done anything to report the people being toxic in voice chat? I've been playing since the game came out and since then they still haven't implemented it.

I recently got a ban due to a person in voice call swearing and being toxic towards me for the whole duration of the game, til i eventually flipped and I said one sentence

So for sending one message I get a ban and the person swearing at me and cursing me for 20minutes wont get anything..  how is that fair EA?

Why is being toxic in voice chat not implemented yet,yet i get a ban for one sentence?

I understand that people might tell me to "just mute him" ,but that's kinda hard when youre playing ranked and trying to climb in a game that is team oriented. The difference between a team with comms and without comms is huge.

[CM - If this resulted in a ban in-game, please don't repeat it on the forums, even partially censored]

  • This is a serious problem in the Apex Legends community of players. Once in a while you come across a person that swears a lot and calls you name for not meeting their expectations. They get killed, or mad and after insulting you just leave. I reported a person like this for offensive speech and abandoning the match. The request has been denyied. These kind of people do not do it once or twice. They do it constantly and disrupt the experience for casual players. They are not punished whilst an average player gets banned for one sentence? Somebody should better sort out their priorities.Voice chat gets no punishments whilst text chat is literally doomed. You're loosing your players and keeping the toxic ones. Things should not be this way.

  • @Oniksen Pro tip for everyone with this problem.

Go into settings, and set incoming voice chat volume to zero. Then never hear the toxicity again. Pings are enough to communicate.

Or, set incoming voice chat to 1%, and turn on voice to text. Then report them.

I didn't know you could do that. That's a very clever idea.
