Apex legends steam acc issue

Hello,

I have Apex legends account only on steam. One day it just said that "Apex Legends requires an ea account to play". I played for 6moths on steam only. I have no ea accounts. I was really confused, but I created new ea account and downloaded origin.

How Do I link my steam account with origin. I dont want to lose my steam apex legends account I gave so much money and time in.

@JontonkaPalacink afaik It's not possible to play Apex Legends without an EA account. When you first launch Apex on steam, you are greeted by a 'Register' option and after clicking on it you have to sign in with your EA account.

It's impossible that you played for 6 months with no EA account or idk could be a bug. :/
