Interesting. It seems logical, on the face of it. We have a few PS5 guys here. I'll tag @hayhor for one.
I'm interested in hearing your takes. Not really in your opinions about the idea of lowering the aim assist strength, but your observations of whether the enhanced video performance from next gen is enough for any such change to make sense, as it does for PC.
@pandareno1999I would be fine with .4 AA and would happily move to it for 120 fps on my ps5. I've tried it and it doesn't change anything for me other than maybe I adjust my ALCs a little.
PS5 already is enhanced vs the PS4 version. I can see more in the distance with greater detail now due to the locked 60 fps. People on ps4 not using the performance display would be shocked at how often they are less than 50 fps and dropping frames(hint: almost all the time).
I'm not holding my breath anymore on this update tho. Thordan makes a lot of clickbait daily videos now, some of which are completely wrong. If he goes the ddos route he will have fully converted into the waterboy.
