@DarthValtrex I haven't been playing, but have they really fixed footstep audio, constant hit-reg problems, crappy servers, etc. etc.? Keep seeing people saying the server maintenance didn't do anything.
@bosourd I think it's the LTM + the anniversary event that's been increasing views. Apex is a lot more interesting while streaming if your games aren't, "We hot dropped 5 times in a row, couldn't find any loot cause of crap loot distribution, and now we're fighting while having nothing oh no I'm dead.". Removal of most white level loot means there's a lot more combat related loot, decreasing the time spent looking for crap, and more time movin' and shootin', which is generally more interesting than standard Apex.
Which is probably why PUBG isn't really a highly watched game despite it being a pretty big-name BR. It's not interesting to watch someone pick up garbage for 10 minutes, then get wiped by a black pixel 600 meters away.
@pastaclown By "fix" I think it depends on your expectations. There are some times in which I'm fairly confident the foot step audio is still an issue. But it's not every match, I don't have people sneaking up behind me almost every round. I had an octane jump pad over to me and there was 0 audio aside from hearing him go off the jump pad. He might have slid on landing but I still think there should have been some audio. How ever this kind of thing is only happening here or there, it's not every match.
The hit reg, I have not been noticing nearly as much and typically when it's an issue it's because of latency/lag issues on my end from my ISP. But when my connection is really solid things have been fairly good.
I've been able to enjoy the game and have fun with it. Post quite a few 1200+ damage rounds and get some kills. Lord Scorp can tell you I'm having a fairly solid season, I was dominating ranked last night.
@DarthValtrex uugh, you're really not helping me keep away from this game. I might as well finish the BP since I'm about halfway done anyway. I think I'm level 45, I should have enough time right?
@hayhor I knew I was forgetting something when I was playing with Valtrex and Scorpion last night. Will check it out when I get on later.
