No, the game might look dull now but Riot knows how to run a game. They also listen to the community unlike *cough* respawn *cough*. The game is still in closed beta, but hey you do you man/woman.
Personal opinion, I don't like the new map rotation. I liked King's Canyon as an LTE (Limited Time Event), because whenever I'm on now, it's only King's canyon, and when it goes back to World's Edge, I'm off by then. I dislike King's Canyon with a passion, as it heavily favors legends like Gibby or Wattson or Caustic. Using Crypto is a real challenge, and I'd prefer the maps to go back to how they were. Duos and Trios I'm fine with, but King's Canyon is just not my thing. The new town takeover just dropped and I have played on it ONCE, because of the rotation. I can't play World's Edge at all, and I can't even play it in ranked, because that's King's Canyon too! Don't get me wrong, I'm still going to play. But I don't enjoy the scramble at the beginning of the game when we drop on the OTHER SIDE OF THE MAP and there's half the lobby come to destroy us. It's not fun when all you find is a Mozamweak and you get killed in the first three seconds by a predator who found a purple shield and a golden R-301. Maybe the time rotations could be longer? I don't know. Ok, rant over. Love the new town takeover, it's great. I just don't like King's Canyon.

Streamers are advertisers. They play what they get paid to promote. Just because something is popular with them it doesnt mean its good, like Valorant.
Valorant is honestly just boring, lacks depth in both gameplay mechanics, strategies and content and gets old in a few rounds.
Of course you can ask a streamer about their opinion, just expect the same amount of honesty that you get from a salesman when asked about the competitions product, or a used car salesman about the conditions of their 4-wheeled suicide machines.

i miss the days when they was doing nice events, like the christmas event, dude i loved that mode, now...map rotation and duos when lots of people ask for solo
