Are there hackers/cheaters on consoles?
I've been wondering this for ages, and wondering why there's even an option to report console players (or at least Xbox players since Playstation players can't be reported) as cheaters since, as far as I know, hacking a console is impossible.
@jokool_aid Yes but they are fairly rare. I have bumped into one person I knew for certain was cheating. I was playing another forum member and we were getting beamed by the person. Long story short he shot me from 75+ meters through smoke with a flatline in full auto and hit nothing but headshots.
Most of the stuff you bumped into on console are going to be antirecoil mods and rapid fire mods. I definitely do not see that frequently and you can definitely kill them. I saw one the other night and still killed him. You just can't make mistakes when you bump into them.
It's fairly apparent when someone is cheating. Especially when they use the rapid fire mods, it makes a very distinct sound.
