recent performance issues & even worse audio problems

Question

as of like 2 days ago, after like 30 minutes of playing the game, my In:Out (IO in the performance display) has gone from an average of like 20|15 to 70|40. i dont know how this would be a pc issue because again, its been 3 days. coincidentally 3 days ago my spotify got hacked, but i struggle to see the causation there. regardless i cant hear **bleep** even more than before. directional audio does not exist at all anymore. worlds first fps you can go pro in while being deaf

I agree. The audio directionality in this game is a joke. You hear footsteps but often you look exactly in the wrong place before the enemy appears.

They are 100% aware of this problem but clearly have no interest in fixing it.

My son is currently playing on an old pc with&nbsp; lots of ram, and can hear directional footsteps on headphones, thanks to the below.
There is a workaround to help improve footstep sounds on pc, outlined in the first post in the below thread: (also on xbox 1S with DTS settings and ps5 with headphones and there are other suggestions in the thread)It is by no means a panacea, but you may find somthing that helps improve your situation, but it does require the sacrificing of some of the rest of the games aural landscapehttps://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Discussion/Improve-in-game-sounds-how-to/m-p/11720065#M216004
