So when I merged my account and I brought 171 packs on one account and brought another 149 packs on another does my account now only have 171 packs opened cause of it being more?
what about all the packs I’ve opened through out the seasons through battle passes do I just loose them all and loose money ?
if it doesn’t merge over and im not on 320 packs this is a scam cause in ea cross progression it never says that pack progress doesn’t merge at all and this is ridiculous if it doesn’t cause that’s over hundreds of dollars on the game which is now lost.
Bully909 From what I understand, the platform in which you have the highest Apex level on, will become the "main account", (which means if you were level 200 on PC, but were level 500 on Xbox, your Xbox Account will be the main account).
What does it mean for an account marked as the "main account"?
The account that becomes designated to be the "main account" will be the only account to keep things such as stats, level, and badges.
For example, you have two Apex accounts, a PC Account that's level 200, and an Xbox Account that's level 500:
If you had hit Platinum on PC, but had only hit Gold on Xbox, your rank badge will be Gold after the merge.
Your Apex level will also be level 500 after the merge, (as that was the highest account level).
Your kills, damage, and other stats will be the Xbox's stats, (and not the PC's stats, or a combination of the two).
After that, all other progression will merge, (such as currency and cosmetics).
Both accounts will have access to every earned and purchased cosmetic, (unless it was a platform exclusive, such as the Pathfinder Switch skin), as well any unlocked Heirlooms and legends, (but keep in mind that any duplicates won't be refunded, so if you have two of the same Heirloom, legend skin, etc., you will only have one copy after the merge).
Both accounts will combine their Legend Tokens, Crafting Materials, and Apex Coins, (except if you're on the Switch, as its currency is sadly not shared across the other platforms), (and Exotic Shards should* also merge, but will follow the same restrictions as Apex Coins).
Luckily, both accounts should also combine their Apex Packs as well, (as seen in the example cross-progression below):
Apex Legends - Cross Progression Example
Note 1: Keep in mind that two EA Accounts cannot be merged together, nor can two platform accounts of the same type, (such as two Xbox, PlayStation, or Switch accounts, (including two Steam accounts)).
This means that the accounts being merged must be unique, (such as an EA Account and an Xbox Account).
Summary:
Your highest Apex account will become the "main account".
Only the "main account" will retain its stats, level, and badges, (which means that all other accounts won't merge or combine their stats, level, and badges).
Your cosmetics, Heirlooms, Apex Packs, unlocked legends, and currency will all merge, (with the exception of platform exclusives being only useable on the platform its exclusive to, (with any duplicates being lost with no refunds), as well as Apex Coins being split if some were earned/bought on the Switch, as the Switch's wallet is not shared with the other platforms, (while Exotic Shards should* also merge, but will follow the same restrictions as Apex Coins)).
The accounts being merged must be unique, (which means one EA Account and one Xbox account, not two EA Accounts or two Xbox Accounts).
Note 2: All information about Cross Progression on EA Help was written before the introduction of Exotic Shards. As such, I'm not sure if any Exotic Shards will merge or not, (which is why I said that these currencies "should" merge). I would imagine that any Exotic Shards would merge, but do keep this in mind if either account has any Exotic Shards.
