- E9ine_AC3 years agoHero+@k8gawo6epx7x Lifeline is great don't listen to your friends. Sure some legends may hold advantages she cant offer but as does her kit for others. My friend is the number 1 LL in NA with over 160k kills on her. He plays her no different than a sweaty wraith would play. All about play style i suppose.
As for me I use to be a wraith main then i decided im going to branch out and learn other legends. So in theory i have played a lot so much i can main 6 of them and play them well. Side note i wont touch crypto or rev. - @k8gawo6epx7x I like to switch between legends that I enjoy playjng but I keep coming back to pathy.

About 3 weeks into season 3. Struggled in season 2 with a... 0.42 kdr, I think it was. Tried basically every legend, nothing. Then tried Lifeline, and from like the first game things changed. She was my little Rambo. But after her getting nerfed season after season, directly nerfed or indirectly nerfed, I had to give up a few seasons ago and switched to Wraith, who is kinda nutty, especially on Control and TDM.

Pathfinder. Decision made day one. Grapple. What else is there beside mobility? Now I play Valk, but only because her slightly better ult is more important to me than her slightly weaker tactical. - Realthing7073 years agoNew Adventurer
Bangalore right from day 1 (when the game first came out), because she is the most 'basic' in terms of just being a soldier with a smoke bomb and goes faster when being shot at, helped me work on my aim a lot instead of worrying about where to place a Caustic barrel, or swinging around with pathfinder etc. Just very simple and effective at the actual shootouts part of apex, which fits my style. None of that fancy stuff in other words lol.
- @k8gawo6epx7x Pathy stole my heart from the very beginning. If memory serves me, Bloodhound is actually who I used in my very first match, but tried Pathy on the next one, and he's been my main ever since. I do enjoy playing as most Legends though. Some of my other favorites would be Lifeline, Octane and Valk, but I don't necessarily dislike any Legends.
I have to disagree with your friends about Newcastle though. He's dope, but I definitely prefer Lifeline. Her passive revive ability is one of the most useful things in the game, for me. It's saved my team countless times, because I can still shoot and stop enemy pushes, while my mates are being rez'd - HappyHourSumwur3 years agoSeasoned Ace@k8gawo6epx7x I've mained about 8 or so Legends at one point or another and still play others from time to time. Some people might analyze Legends and make a conscious decision, but I think most people just try some out & then go with what they feel that they like. You just kind of know, you know?

Honestly, Lifeline will always have a special place in my heart 🤗. I usually play support and even tho Newcastle has been a great Legend when it comes to reviving and protecting the team with their Revive Shield, I still chose Lifeline at the end of the day. Care packages can help so much ( not just for extra items/ heals ) but during the fight, using them as extra shield/ protection can be a game changer :D

as soon as I learned how to properly move around with pathfinder he became my main character. his voice lines are fun and his movement is the best. He doesn't feel as agile as wraith or horizon, but I just love his grappling mechanics. Also the ability to push someone that's far from their squad or quickly disengage from a fight for a quick reset makes him so versatile. I understand he's not the best character for competitive but he's definitely the one I have the most fun with when playing.

When I still had the game on PC, I guess I would say my "mains" were Mirage and Valk.
On PS4 I don't have one. Don't play enough. Usually play whatever the game tells me that day for 2, maybe one or two matches, then log off, likely to not play again for a week to a month or more.
This week playing more because my PC is waiting for a new CPU so I can't play Destiny 2 or Guild Wars 2. Can't wait for that to be over.
