Attempting to reload, but...

But instead, I keep starting to res my downed teammate, or keep opening/closing the dang door, Lmao!!! Surely I can't be the only one that has fallen victim to this. I know it basically comes down to situational awareness, but does anyone have any tips that I might not be thinking of? Aside from the obvious "move away from your teammate or the door, you bozo" responses. I'm perfectly aware of that idea, but sometimes I find myself in a pinch, trying to reload behind cover, and I end up deader than dead, because I wasn't able to reload. Does looking directly up work? I haven't tried that yet.

@dSKyNafinchin Really what you can do, is look directly away from anything interact able, then click reload, or if you have 0 bullets in a mag, you should auto reload.

@TuxTart116 There’s a button for auto reload upon being dry. It’s either that or switching to another gun... or both. You could also just press shoot another time to reload upon dry...

OP: I’d say walk away and try reloading cause even if you look away from a door you can still open it...

@TuxTart116 I try to do this, and it works out for me pretty well, when it comes to being next to a downed teammate. However, I still have issues with the prompt, when I'm blocking a door to heal. Once I heal up, I try to reload, thinking I'm looking away from the door, and then it opens right up for the enemy on the other side haha

@Koochi-Q I need to check that setting. I have a feeling I do not have it enabled, currently

I've been grumbling that we need the ability to change multi keybinds for like 2 years now.
Can't be that complicated to code surely? XD
I'd much rather have revive etc set to the same input as melee. Would be nice to have the reload button completely isolated.

@MandatoryIDtag This would be a very welcome change!! I do play using an elite controller, but I don't think I would be able to remap this particular scenario, as they are both bound to X via game controls. I need to look in to that, though.

@dSKyNafinchin There is a way to press and hold to do certain things but I couldnt get used to it. I just die and laugh.

@Koochi-Q Auto reload? Never seen that as a setting.

@MandatoryIDtag But the devs added Valk's passive to the same keybind as jump citing 'Controller players'

@BaldWraithSimp I feel like that binding makes sense though? It feels natural to press the jump button again, to activate the boosters. I may be misinterpreting your statement
