ban timer ran out, still banned

I was banned on july 2023 for haressment, but i am confused why im still banned even tho timer has ran out for awhile now. I still have 170 days left on the ban. even though its way above the time i ...

I tried finding the situation i was having but i dont know what category it would fall under so i looked up ban help and it lead me to that.

Ok, I understand, thanks @gerneralcat. 

As ToS confirmed the timer is meant to be timed out, it's no longer about appealing a ban but about being able to get into the account. A change in the case categories is needed as the ban categories will only route you to ToS.
