Let's look at her smoke, it's easily countered by Digital threats. Blood hound can see straight through it with scans or ult. Horizon can also get out of the smoke easily or look down into it and see outlines/shadows of players in the smoke. Her ultimate can be blocked by Gibi dome and Wattson Ult. It can also be avoided via Horizon and Valks tactical. She was already a mid tier legend to begin with and this has all diluted the impact of her abilities to the point of being bottom tier legend. The double time is great when it works, but the Spitfire's endless magazine and 0 recoil guarantees you'll get stunned and ends the double time immediately. Before the buff to the spitfire most players would miss a substantial amount of shots due to the double time, allowing Bang to fight back as they reload or make an exit. Even if I manage to get the spitfire players to miss 20 bullets, it has 0 impact on the fight because they likely have 35 rounds remaining. The smoke buff is not noticeable, I'm still getting shot through the smoke. Especially when I'm not in a building. Lighting can play a huge part in this, but seeing shadows/outlines of people in smoke is still extremely common.There are no other legends in the game that have their abilities so easily countered by so many things in game. I'm definitely an above average player with Bangalore, I'm in the top .3% in terms of total damage done with her and top 3-4% with kills. Yet I feel like I'm at a huge disadvantage in nearly every single fight I get into. I have rely entirely on my guns to win fights now and get 0 assistance from abilities. I don't want her to be OP, but I don't want her to feel like she is at a disadvantage.

@Nasher355 Good Bangalores actually smoke the enemy themself and use thermal optics to have a huge advantage over the enemy as they cant see but the Bangalore can.I feel they need to treat rolling thunder as valks rockets. That they land in straight lines and creating a wave effect of explosions that are quicker explosion times. This is a huge issue with it is that it does not hit people most the times its more of a clear the field abilitiy that does not live up to its full potential of being viable.

@LordloshBang Well, you disable the need completely to be able to counter ults and abilities. Bang ult lands horizon zooms up or pathy zips away. This is a strategy in which they saved their ability knowing this may happen during this fight. This does not mean its not right it just means they think smart.Wattson ult destroys all ults she bypasses multiple minute timers.Gibby bubble also grants them a get-out-of-jail-free card.Caustic gas can clear fields for an advantage or defense purposesCrypto can ult an area and unless Wattson is around or Gibby no one can counter this if in the ratio of that circle.Gibby ult hits its virtually in most cases impossible to avoid unless right beside a building. Which if in the open only Wattson can counter.You have a revenant whose ult can not be countered unless you find where they have placed the totem.Rampart ult can not be counter by anyone in terms of abilities unless a sky legend lets its rain down.So as you can see every legend has strong points and weak points of who can counter who. Every legend has its purpose and its counter methods. It's up to the user if they wish to think of ways to use them to counter things. The changes you offer would drastically change all countermeasures. Saying they should not counter it is like saying Wattson can not counter every single ult in the game which she can. If it happens to 1 everyone would want it to happen to all.

@KelRiever I agree that by major rework, I don't want to see her abilities scrapped and reworked like Life Line. I liked her skill set when it was effective. I felt like she was competitive in most situations and it was on me and my skill with guns, abilities to win fights. I think if they get the smoke back to a better place and make some small adjustments to the double time she might be a decent place. I don't mind her ult not hitting people, that's not really how I use it. I'm simply trying to break up enemy squads or buy time when I use it.

@DarthValtrex Not sure if this is an unpopular opinion or not but I don't even see the need for the digi threat. What else are you going to use it to see through caustics gas? It seems like It was necessary to counter Bangalore when their was like 8 legends but now she has so many counters It just allows anyone to counter it. I think when bloodhound scans it should kinda flicker if your in the smoke. Only counter to see through should be him in his ult.

@Nasher355 The smoke+Digital together are what made the smoke worth while for the most part. If they get rid of the digital threat from floor loot, they'd need to give something to her to allow her to see through the smoke in a similar fashion.

But that advantage is basically gone at the moment. Everything she has is easily countered at the moment and nothing really stands out or is even mid tier.

@E9ine_AC this is how I mostly use my smoke even without thermal optics. Doing the squid tactic doesn't work out that well for me anymore. Unless the enemy team is at a fair distance.

@E9ine_AC The one down side to that, is I frequently use bangs ult to buy time to pop a battery or reposition/take high ground.

I generally agree it's really hard to hit enemies with it. But with Horizon and Valk in the game now, it's just easy for the ult to be dodged now. The only time I hit people with it anymore is when they are running out of storm or already fighting other people. Beyond that they just scatter.

@DarthValtrex fully agree with every point you've raised in the OP to be honest.
Even if they just reverted her old double time nerf that would be a substantial help. Yes she was harder to hit....but with a kit based around disorientation/rapid repositioning that's how it should be.
Idk...bang definitely needs some TLC that's for sure.

@MandatoryIDtag I don't think it was intentional. It's just the game is grown and she's was left in the dust. I'm all for legends abilities either having some huge negatives or being countered by other legends.

Take Crypto, he's helpful and his ult is great. The huge drawback is you have a teammate sitting on the drone, which puts the other 2 teammates into a difficult position.

Wattson is great, but countered by Crypto.

It's good to have ways around enemy legends abilities, while also having strong points for your legend. But when there are so many counters from so many legends/items it just becomes a bit much.

It's fun when it's your legends strong point. Whether you're caustic/wattson and fortifying a location or Crypto crashing a camped wattson/caustic. Right now bang really lacks that area where she just stands out.

@DarthValtrex I do agree. Bangalore needs to be more effective. I like the suggestion made about tailoring her rolling thunder to be more like Valkyrie's missiles. I think her ult needs to also recharge faster, so she can use it more often.

The smoke maybe needs to stun more or maybe have a much faster charge rate. She needs to be a walking smoke grenade launcher imo. Granted digi threats and Bloodhound can counter that, but it's still a specialized thing. In general, her smoke has the potential to be disorienting for most players. It's just not strong enough right now imo
