Hi guys, I was recently banned on ea for a typo I sent into the apex legends chat. I intended to type granny as a player was moving slow but instead of putting a g I Mis clicked and pressed a T as they are next to eachother on the keyboard. This ban is permanent. Anyone got any suggestions? I’ve put forward a dispute but not hopeful with the outcome
The EA staff who work here on AHQ cannot help you directly with account-related issues, such as bans, only the TOS team can help you. I can only point you towards the TOS team as it is my understanding that you can appeal a ban a number of times.
If you feel you have been incorrectly banned, the only thing you can do is to dispute any action taken against your EA account by following the steps in this article:

The support has not really a good trackrecord of helping people for nonsense bans. Enjoy their copy pasta responses.
Either let the game be or make a new account but i highly advise you to not spend a single coin on this or any ea game until they fix their policies.
This is... on Star Trek online the chat is capable of changing a banned word into #+(!? whenever one is typed. It seems to me that EA want people to get banned, or they would implement a system as simple as that. It is impossible to know beforehand which words are banned without a complete list of said words, which I have requested before and got ignored. They apparently like to keep it a secret and just hand out bans. Ergo: EA game, best to say and type nothing at all.
