I'll not be investing in a Battlepass, until EA / Respawn and EAC get a handle on the escalating cheating problem in Apex.
- Agree with above statement. I won't be giving any money to a company that actually promotes cheating by not doing enough to stop it.

ive played a lot of apex since it was released I am yet to see and cheating or hacks
"very soon" was regarding an update on the Battle Pass rather than the actual Battle Pass launch, but knowing Respawn like to drop bombs unexpectedly, these two events might be separated by a few hours. An optimistic guess would be that they'll give an update sometime this week (Thur/Fri) and launch either on Fri to capture weekend peak numbers or Tue next week. Don't want to speculate conservatively as I really don't want it to be on the last week of March. Honestly I think they will avoid last week as that's kind of poopy - if you say March and launch on the last day of the month, it doesn't look good does it?
Regarding cheating, I too have not encountered it much (but I have definitely seen at least 2-3 guaranteed cheaters) - I think it's worse in Asian regions. But I do agree that they have to fix that before competitive matchmaking arrives, and ideally before Battle Pass as that can definitely boost sales. Maybe this is why it's taking them so long.
Quick note on cheating though - some people actually might call cheating based merely on their subjective opinion or a lucky shot, or just because they're angry they messed up. Yesterday I had a mad game, first time I've killed 3 squads of 3 people in one drawn-out fight on my own, racking 16 kill total win. People started to spectate and as I continue to improve, I worry that reports might come flying. That's why I think more needs to be done than the report functionality - at least give priority prime servers for paying members or those verified via a mobile phone. Much less likelihood of cheating, and more time could be spent reviewing reports rather than auto-banning to keep up with the number of reports.

That puts it toe to toe with The Division 2’s launch, mind. After EA screwed Respawn over the launches for Titanfall 1&2 I doubt Respawn will do it to themselves by choice if they can possibly avoid it...

For 30 dollars we can buy AAA games from other stores ( Steam, Uplay, EGS). Fortnite battle pass costs less, like 7 dollars. And what EA offers? 12 dollars battle pass and games for 45 dollars. No, thaks. I live in 3rd world country (Russia) and we don't have a lot of money here.Where are you at getting stuff that cheap? Come to Canada where AAA EA titles are just shy of 100$ lol you have it good

You have been playing for free man...I live in Russia. We make here 200-300 dollars per month. All of this money going on food and rent. Try to survive here and after say words like that.

7$ is hardly an investment, just saying. . .
same i will not use any more money on apex until they do something heavy about the cheaters
really disappointing battle pass... and still no explanation to what you gonna use the legend tokens for besides those few times you may be able to use in shop....
