@hayhor He's not saying lock punching but if you shoot someone while punching you they shouldn't be able to complete the punch.
I honestly don't want to be that guy... But if you pick up a weapon, get punched 4 times and you do down, your opponent really deserved that win. Instead of instantly turning around towards him to shoot, you should build some distance first or use his movement against him. Plus, you can punch as well. And if you punch him once and knock him back, you can instantly start shooting.
But making it so that your punch gets interrupted or disabled when you get shot at feels like an additional disadvantage that would make people frustrate from time to time. And it's not like it happens every match.
