I wouldn't mind Apex using bots the same way Fornite does.
> Lower skilled players face off with normal lobbies mixed with bots and other lower skilled players.
> This could boost players enjoyment into the game and easy them into a more difficult environment the better they get.
> Bots disappear after reaching a certain skill level.
But first they need to handle the SBMM workaround where those high level players are able to get into low level matches, ya know, to avoid players getting a high K/D who shouldn't have one.
@iBlockHead I think the easter egg in the firing range is the start of it here. It can only be a good thing for new players to play others of a similar standard, and bots to help improve. Might be appropiate for up to level 50.

@OldTreeCreeper AND it'll filter out real lobbies and throw ya some actual decent players who know the game a bit more. š
And for anyone who disagrees because it's copying another game or whatever. Games copy each other all the time and it's what makes them fun and more enjoyable to see one game take the concept of another and introduce it in a slightly different way.

Many people assume there are bots, especially if you played the "dummies" mode. I would say 98% of people I played with didn't use their mic or communicate whatsoever. I'm pretty much always playing solo. I even experimented with asking questions, mic/ text, giving instructions, not pinging everything, even being a toxic douche...no response at all...sooooooooooooooooooo, I think they are possibly "testing" out their bot program. How do you figure you ask? Well, when the dummies mode started my squads were always matched up at low, med, high levels(eg. 50,100,150). This was consistent. The next day I played, I was matched up with with levels fairly close myself(eg.140,150,160). Later on I was matched with levels much higher than myself(eg.150,200,250). Maybe 2% of the players I was matched with communicated in one way or another. Which in comparison to casual mode, maybe 50% of the players actually communicate. So, my thinking is that the dummies mode was to test both, solo mode with a special ultimate and bots for even matchmaking in casual.

- 6 years ago@jumanjaydazed i think the dummies mode was like an experiment, they wanted to study the players moments , tactics ,using of abilities to know when and how , most common drop locations , play style ...etc .
in the end all data will be collected and similarities will be put together to create a bot that can imitate the play style of majority of real players.
but for what it will be used ...well it don't have to be to fill the lobbies with bots but i think it might be for a new upgraded more aggressive firing range training mode
but it might be just a random event and that's it - 6 years ago
Shocker! 20-bombs are actually 20-bots! š
