It's a movement tehcnique that allows you to completely change directions in the air. It's usually done after using the Octane jump pad. It can only be done in PC or controller players in PC since it involves binding your scroll wheel to movement. On the other hand, there's this thing called flick strafing on consoles where it somehow mimics the effect of tap-strafing but it's different. And then PC players say that aim-assist is broken while they can do stuff like this... unbelievable- 5 years ago@MrCarri-X Tap strafing is at least pacifist. Aim assist is like somebody is holding your hand and aiming for you and letting you win fights you will never win

I wonder if the flick strafing technique on controller will still work since the mechanic is different? I learned how to do it, albeit inconsistently, but compared to tap strafe, it didn't seem powerful enough to keep working on it.
- E9ine_AC5 years agoHero+@MrCarri-X Thing is though you guys have the options to avoid this type of movement. We do not get the option to remove aim assist or latency issue players.
