Call me crazy but sometimes I get so frustrated by losing 300+ RP in one night

That I will purposely abandon a match early and take the penalty to “reset” especially if I’m in the classic “hard stuck at plat 4” phase of the split and I’m already close to getting a tier demotion...

@pandareno1999 I do appreciate that, it doesn’t take much for me to get worked up so I feel that. That + the pandemic the past 1.5 years has made many people, including myself, more wound up from being inside more (unless you were someone who preferred being home and not going out much) and getting irritable over stuff like this. Good looking out 👍

@DaDeDimson I got very worked up this evening over a 24 point loss. I got dc and came back just in time for the squad death placed 20! I think 2 of us had gotten dc as one had the red dc in their banner when I got there and were not dead. It takes about 2 seconds after you arrive and can see the game, for the actual rejoin to start properly. I did not throw my controller across the room, but I was driven to certain well known expletives 😃

    @OldTreeCreeper Shoot I wish I only ever had 24 point losses lol I can build up like 300-500 in one night. That’s grounds for breaking a controller sometimes.

      @DaDeDimson What sucks the most is when you won then you immediately lose all of those hard earned RP in the next 3-5 games. LOL.

        @Cheese9Man Which brings me back to my point of losing 300 RP lol literally undo's all of your progress

      @DaDeDimson I found it very difficult when I lost points in plat trying to get to diamond. I did in the end but it was in the first season of ranked, so there wasn't the time pressure there is now with the split.

        @OldTreeCreeper Yup same here, I get hard stuck every. single. split in ranked. I got to Plat 1 with like 30ish days left last split, then I spent 2-3 weeks stuck between 6900-7200 RP which obviously puts you in Diamond. It was torture and I think the game was out to get me lol.

    @OldTreeCreeper When you disconnect to start a match do you get to at least see your animated banner and pose? 😃

      I've also gotten into the habit of stopping after a certain number of rounds when I realize I'm not going to make it today.

      I have good days where my aim is abnormal good and some days where my aim is so bad that I wounder what's going on so I play pubs to warm up as well but it's really visible if you can play ranked today or not 🙂

      @hayhor no, but you will be delighted to know that thanks to an ingame message today about a Bug, I disabled the active pose! And only got dc twice! It may be because other players did not get the official in game message or simply did not act on it.

      I did tell you that they needed numbets in the data to take some action, albeit a paltry one.
