Can EA do anything about the Aim Bot Hack?

If I am lucky... 1 out of every 15 games, I will not encounter someone using Aim Bot.

90% of the time they contain a Russian name.

I have recorded so many of them and uploaded them... but it's just too much now, they are ruining a game I used to really enjoy.

What is being done about this, it NEVER used to be so bad.

To spectate players that have downed you... watching how their bullets make a 90° turn just after it leaves the muzzle of their gun to hit the nearest enemy player is just sad.

I have a recording where I spectated the 6 teams ahead of me after my team was wiped... ALL used Aim Bot... it was whoever's Aim Bot is the best till the Champions.

One game... one of my own team mates was using Aim Bot... he has over 15k kills... I asked him why does he use it... his reply was, 'So?'

I really thought that reporting people would make a difference, but if high level profiles are using it, then Apex has really taken a turn for the worse.

The easiest way to report and get cheaters banned is recording gameplay of the person, then clipping that video Send In Clips of Cheaters HERE!  and/ or to one of the many EA Game Changer streamers (basically any stramer that has a EA sponsorship).

It's a waste of time making a report directly to EA and/ or Easy Anti Cheat. One, direct support is mostly outsourced unless things have changed, and most reports don't even get logged.

Easy Anti Cheat only cares for actual cheating software reports.

Ingame report is a security theater for the most part.

I have Nvidia Geforce Experience to screen capture cheaters, but because it's a hassle, I don't even report anymore to be honest. At the end of the day it's a Free 2 Play title, it will always have cheaters, always.

  • They don't care.

They'd rather use the cheaters to give people strugging a win, even if it pisses everyone off, including the newbie who got carried.

Their SBMM literally shuttles around cheaters to escort people below the target win rate percentage back to said target.

Meanwhile those of us who are fed up with queueing with others still don't have a solo mode. We have a "no fill" option for duos, but SBMM doesn't compensate properly for the lack of a 2nd player, so it's a throw.

I know I suck, but I've literally had to report teammates carrying me for botting, as that's the most toxic experience.. to be put into matches out of your league and the game compensates for you by pairing you with a hard carry cheater that locks through walls. This isn't "haha you're just salty," no man, it's the classic spazzing out going haywire classic botters running rampant. EAC should be called easy access cheats.

  • @DreamSeeka Sure, they are constantly working to prevent and detect cheating. From everything I've read online, EA really strives to provide us with a fun, fair and safe gaming environment.
  • @DreamSeeka  regardless of how you may feel about the AC system koreys post is by far the best route you can take.

Clipped evidence is solid and will be actioned.

(To anybody who says otherwise,  I've seen enough ban rants on this platform which makes up a small portion of the community to prove otherwise)

Bans happen, its just hard to combat given the game is free.  Its one of the downsides to free games.  I agree though, its very frustrating to get into games, loot, have a few good fights, and then die to someone cheating.  It takes all the wind out of your sails and it would be nice to see Respawn + EA dedicate a little more resources to cheating in any form.

@DarthValtrex All they do is Ban/Suspend accounts. There's nothing that stops them creating new accounts moments after getting banned and continue playing. That Taxi streamer got banned multiple times while streaming, but just made a new a account and went about his day. Can they not do account/I.P./hardware bans to actually fix the issue?

Taxi was not banned for cheating, he was banned for using a movement called alt dash.  It's not a stated rule but they classified it as exploiting...which I don't understand because tap strafing wasn't something the developers and EA intended either, so that should also be exploiting.

  • There are some sus * players out there.  I think my aim is pretty good and there are a lot of times where I would get fried in a split second from somebody who barely saw around the corner.  Also, earlier today, somebody fried me through the smoke and he didn't even have a digi threat.  Then I spectated him for a bit, and he did the same thing to somebody else through smoke.  Sus af.

@swift07 Exploiting isn't cheating in your mind? Regardless, he was still banned and then came back and cheated some more until his new account got banned.
