Ive recently been playing with my PC friend and am getting tired of tapstrafe demons I want to use the same tech as PC since im already at a frame disadvantage on console but am checking here first because I dont want to get banned

@ImForgottenTV You could get banned, it’s sort of a grey area. I personally wouldn’t do it, but I also have a strong belief that that is cheating and that would violate my moral code. So what you wish with this, however I strongly encourage you to not do what I view as cheating.

@ImForgottenTV It indeed could lead to a ban. Anything that can automate movement or other actions other than in-game key bind changes is against the rules.The rule from the user agreement that is being broken is using third party software to gain an unfair advantage over others.

@ImForgottenTV EA never officially said the steam stuff was ok. At any point they could start banning those people. It is best to not straddle that line.

But then isnt steam configs bannable evn tho EA said its perfectly fine. That would also mean superglide configs and or any game config is bannable since it messes with binding and files right?

There is no controller that one can use to tap strafe on controller on console. The coding for console has capability for neither lurch nor WASD movement - both of which are necessary for tap strafing. This is only possible on PC via Steam.

@pandareno1999the other day I spectated a horizon ( of course) who was continuously jumping while looting which is impossible to do on console and I don't know how he/she managed to do that.
and I'm not talking about jump, open a box , take on item or two then close the box ,jump again and then open the box and loot again ...no
I'm talking about actually looting continuously and while humping all the time.
the jumping it self is useless, anyone can beam this guy while looting even while jumping , but the idea if he/she was able to break the code/system to achieve that then who knows what other things are there

There is an unfortunate bug with the matchmaking system right now that is sometimes mixing up PC and console players in the same lobby!

the horizon that I mentioned above was in BR as i don't play mixtape anyway and clearly was an Xbox because of the symbol in the banner
edit : and yes i have a video recording, nowadays I'm having videos of cheaters more than my own game play ... unfortunately

@maximas1986 Jumping while looting is not normal? I have seen console users do it a ton well before all these new devices or programs. Unless im missing something that is.
