Can we use StrikePack (with Mod enabled) for Apex ?

@EA_David

@EA_Kent

I must be live under the rock. I hear so many aim assist controller in Competition are using Scuff or StrikePack.

I don't have money for Scuff but I can consider to get StrikePack.

Can we use it with MOD enabled ?

I don't want to get BAN.

  • @asukojo Surely anything that overrides the way the game is supposed to be played is against the TOS, such as no recoil scripts and other macros.

    If you only use it to map buttons such as crouch and jump I cannot see how that is bannable but I could see false bans if any automated software sees you using it.

    What platform are you on?
  • PS4. I just worried get false ban as well , since a default MOD might be run on in the background that I don't realize.

  • Since the StrikePack affects hardware only, no they can't really detect it, unfortunately. I dislike that there are grey areas such as that where EA can't really do anything about it just like XIM where you can get aim assist but still use mouse.

  • @asukojo  You can, though I would recommend against it because you become dependent on the mods.

    A teammate in our group bought one (he was a decent enough player already) and used it for a few months before it quit working.

    Afterwards, he struggled with using weapons as they were intended to perform. His recoil control and such had to be relearned.

    Up to you, but no, it will not get you banned as of this moment.

    Btw, I disagree with the ps back button attachment. The strikeforce ones feel better in the hand the eliminator has 4 buttons, if im not mistaken, and can be used without mods turned on. (personal preference obviously, but I gave my Sony one away - wasnt a fan)

    @GrimGaming21That is fine. I've never tried one with 4 buttons and didnt want to put my account at any chance of risk. I have crouch and jump underneath and I would have a hard time playing without that.

    Surely it would be easy to detect a no recoil cheater? They shoot their gun and they never move their stick to compensate. Seems like something that should be easy to see in the game inputs.

  • @asukojo People are using hardware to just "be better" by default. All these years of mocking " he has a gaming chair" and it finally happened. Why even try to be better at something when you can do half the job with full results.
