@BaldWraithSimpdoes the game really give 3 nr.1 to players accordingly per each platform or TOP 750 are TOP 750 despite any other factors and purely based on the gained RP?

Also when I say top 10 in the world I dont think of ranked. I think of algs where the majority are still MnK.

Cool, good to know, still top posted previously from here seems to be the top based on RP https://apex.tracker.gg/apex/leaderboards/stats/all/RankScore which still backs up my previous point with minor wording adjustment "top ranked perdators according to RP".
How do I know PC ones are on controller?! LOL?! Because their streams contain clear footage with them playing on one or binds showing with controller keys not regular M&K caracters :D
What you think is another story, what I am talking about here is a clear-cut fact based current predator rank. Please don't add another variable to the equation as then I will add sentences like "I feel like top predators are still not top" and this conversation will go nowhere fast. Thanks!
- hayhor4 years agoHero@Eshshshss I'm just telling you what I view the top of apex as. Top ranked are just the players in pred that play the most. Being number 1 doesnt indicate that person is actually any better than 50. I mean if imperialhal did the ranked grind every day like some of these players surely he could be #1. A person like Rogue has been top 5 whenever he wants. The last couple seasons he hasnt cared. But hey the majority of algs players are MnK so they dont fit your agenda right? 🤷♂️
- 4 years ago@hayhor 100% agree here. Grinding for RP is way easier than winning in the biggest stage of Apex legends, the ALGS. Last December Hal switched to controller because he said he wanted to win more games then immediately went back to mnk after 3 days because he can't hit his shots. I guess the rumors are true that it's not all about aim assist as other people would say. 🤷♂️
- pandareno19994 years agoHero+@Cheese9Man Just for the sake of argument - one could surmise that Hal went back to kbm because he was not willing or able to change his play style in order to take advantage of what controller does better.

@hayhoryou are again introducing a new variable - now instead of "what I see as top" you introduce "grinding".
TOP is top, it is ever-changing and dependable on skill and yes regular play but then again argument can be made are those top people actually grinding or winning a lot and how much do competition play vs say top 10 people - to answer that we would need to gather their game stats and dive deep into analysis. Wanna do that, go ahead, I don't.
From my experience, people are lazy *. If they want something they will find the shortest possible route be it controller and AA or hack but only a few (read none) will choose to actually invest say 10000h while knowing that someone else is thereby with only 1000h but with "shortcuts".
They would rather give up doing something in such case e.g. why "ordinary" people do not compete with pro athletes and even more so in most cases do not do sports at all - they decide that competition is far ahead, the effort needed is too much and they try to be "better" somewhere else.
Also talking about Hal he is not grinding, he is earning loads of money and I am quite sure his love for the game is long gone or definitely not at our level, given he knows all the tricks in the bag and just needs to put in hours to maintain his lifestyle while it lasts and Apex is popular.
To sum up my answer to your question: people who "grind" use mostly controllers to achieve results faster and people who are streamers on M&K use more sophisticated stuff people don't and can't talk here.
Show me a constant, captured progression of a person from D4 to Master which would not have clear signs of AA, no recoil, super accuracy with wingman etc. and I will start changing my mind.
- hayhor4 years agoHero@Eshshshss You wont change your mind no matter what tho. You have to blame your deaths on something other than yourself. 🤷♂️
- hayhor4 years agoHero@Cheese9Man Exactly. All the big algs and streaming MnK stars talk big about controllers but never stick to them. Why? Because they cannot move or shoot from distance nearly as well.

@hayhorLulu got two scufs like 5 months ago. Total playtime: Less than an hour. 🤭 Noko got his and was like "OMG the AA", then starts to complain how hard movement is and is back on MnK again. Bro, you don't need movement when you have AA, right? What's up with the movement stuff being important - it's a shooter. Not that movement is "hard" anyway, just ******* move your left stick and your character moves.
It was btw so funny and cute watching Noko, running with his gun out the entire time. And though mentioning Lulu, I have to add that she is one of the few who doesn't cry about controllers 17 times a day. - Eshshshss4 years agoSeasoned Ace
@hayhoryou should assume less, read more carefully and provide more objective facts and avoid generalization.
As stated in my previous message I will start changing my mind when I will see a factual progression from a player who once was diamond and now is master+ of course unless there will be clear signs of game exploit, hacks in those demos, videos.
Currently, I can provide you at least 6 clips (if you give me a dropbox or something where ~6GB info can be uploaded) where you will see how current Master and Predator level players play, behave in the game. A clear example in short from the last week - played with current master on my team, upon landing he did not tell that the team is with us while I was busy stretching long jump (and partially did forget to look around as well), we got destroyed.
Next game I face the same guy now on the opposing team, he kills me with ~50 hp left but ends up a game in diamond lobby with 9+4. And as you would see form this game demo his decision making was crazy bad, movement pretty much average yet somehow when enemy is in front of him he now managed to lazer / win every battle. That's the diamond for you - can't land, can't move, trashes people in voice for being nubs, yet somehow ends up 9+4 the next game...
Another 3 videos would show how I lost ~200 RP playing on the team with 1 master and 1 ex-predator in platinum lobbies.
p.s. I don't have any issues with self-criticism, I have been recording and analyzing my games since the day I discovered that such an option is available in FPS gaming and I know my strong and weak points, thus not claiming that I should be at the master level, rather saying that ones that are might not deserve to be there unless we count AA and other trick utilization as part of the skill (read: rewarding people who know how to exploit system, rank up using shortcuts etc.).
- hayhor4 years agoHero@Eshshshss Are you saying the masters/pred on MnK all cheat? That's the only way they compete with AA?

Me & all my friends who play Apex are all console players & none of us play with scuff controllers only standard controllers on our respected consoles so none of us have the benefit of aimbot or AA or any other advantages these overly expensive controllers bring.I primarily play Apex on my PS5 & am forever adjusting my aim settings because frankly I do find the constant tinkering around the devs do around altering recoil with certain weapons, hit registation & game lag/tick rate makes getting your shots on target a ball-ache at times. And to strafe move to avoid shots is like turning a tank on a PS5 controller.I do find that PC players do benefit from faster speed movements when side-to-side & figure-of-8 strafe movements that I have seen various players exploit virtually avoiding every shot fired at them.
- hayhor4 years agoHero@Redmattgame All controller players have AA. It doesnt require a special controller.
- pandareno19994 years agoHero+@Redmattgame I must have missed reading the tutorial for my scuf controller. The only feature I know about are sweet thumbsticks and two paddles that I depress with my middle fingers to jump and crouch. Totally missed the stuff regarding aimbot and enhanced aim assist! Can you give me a link?
