Change of headset, audio becomes muffled/far away

@FarkEuuMaybe you're using the headphone manufacturer's 3D audio thingy software? If you have those 3rd party software, turn them off as they make the volume lower to imitate the 3D surround sound.

edit: Okay nvm missed the part where you said you turned them off. Can't help much since I'm a console peasant.

It's really frustrating. Spending money to buy stress and frustration. OMG. 

What's weird is the old headset works perfectly.
