So I just recently started reading patch notes cuz I was discovering some changes that would effect me in game. Some of which got me killed lol. Here's things I found before I started keeping up with the patches. The time Out of Bounds has been shortened.And the time continuously counts down if you go back Out of Bounds (spend 5 sec out & go back will continue counting down from 10 secs). Not sure if there is a reset time or it's til you die. You can no longer use weapons or abilities Out of Bounds.The top of the building at Rig on KC is now Out of Bounds 😒.Some of the changes I def don't agree with. I also think they need a more universal standard of what's Out of Bounds cuz some of the buildings they put it on are pretty short compared to others.

When they changed the time and damage of the first ring, there were so many people that tried to fight in it like before and risk it, and died, and didn't know why.

As a player who doesn’t main any mobility legend, the more OOB the better. LOL.

@Lord_Scorpion34 You can thank the pros for the out of bounds changes as they were the ones abusing them with Valk. Honestly all were good changes. You shouldn't be able to use the OB for special abilities and strategies.

There are many, many high spots on KC that used to be allowed and are now no-go. I would have to think longer about it to be sure, but it seems wrong to make these spots out-of-bounds because Valks & Pathfinders are using their abilities to... do what their abilities were designed to do. Which is to say, reach high spots. And it isn't as if there aren't many other legends who can now respond directly to those capabilities. Not to mention the KC jump towers which allow anyone to be a Valk temporarily. So what line is it that these pros are crossing that we're saying they've moved beyond merely using a map feature to their benefit?

@reconzero ALGS tournaments teams out of zone were valk ulting onto OB, tossing their gibby/caustic ults and then jumping down onto the team below. I remember teams would follow each other, meaning one team would do it early, then as they wiped the team that was in position another team would do it to them.

The other way they used it is teams with horizon and valk combos would horizon queue to an OB high spot and then they would valk ult from that spot, getting much more height and distance from the ult.

On KC they provided a lot more access to high spots just like they did with trainyard on WE. I remember a time when only path could get to the hanging cars.

They also shadow nerfed some of the more annoying KC heights, lowering rocks and such near containment/ the river.

@hayhor I can't agree with that lol because if someone does a bad jump on a huge OOB area you're done. Rig had some great fights on that platform. They could've just made the changes for ALGS if it was that big of an issue.

I died last night as Valk cuz I guess I was OOB for 7 secs & didn't remember ulted onto a rock formation as I was the only one alive & trying to find a good spot. As soon as I saw the timer I jumped but I died while falling to the ground cuz I was too high up!?

Like if I've already jumped off I should be back in bounds.

I don't know. One man's exploit is another man's map knowledge + legend knowledge + just generally being smarter and/or more creative within the limits of the rules. As you said, one squad does it for a wipe and then immediately has it done to them. That's creativity + karma. Not seeing anything there that requires a map change. To me it kinda reeks of gold knockdown predator whining.
