Client banned on Apex
I recently got client banned on apex while I was in the firing range shooting dummies. Smoking them out and shooting with a Digi threat. I haven't received any any type of email, there's no record of...
I got a response. But they gave me no details on why. Saying they're not gonna lift the ban.
I'm not sure if smoking out the dummy and shooting him over and over again triggered something. Or using raw accell did, but I see people use that all the time and nothing.
But I do appreciate you answering me on this.
Just sucks that all my friends play this and it definitely helps dealing with depression.
Using third party software is not advisable and has risks.
Generally though if it gives you an unfair advantage like let's say it increases your mouse acceleration passed normal limits then you'd be cheating.
That's kinda dumb since steelseries has the feature built into their hub thing. Shouldn't they ban all steelseries mouses then?
It's almost like saying you can use your dpi shift button if it has one.
Thats a bummer that you lost your account :/
DPI adjusting buttons and software that changes DPI or any normal functions shouldn't trigger the anti-cheat.
However, some program let you run macro's or other remapping of buttons and those are against TOS and will be detected.
Cheats or mods for other games like cheat engine can trigger the anti-cheat as EAC looks through your RAM for suspicious software.
Its not something that they go into detail in because that could help cheat developers to make their cheats less detectable.
