Cloaking Legend

I'm sure this has been brought up before, but why in the world have they not implemented some sort of cloaking Legend, with the addition of all the new scanning Legends that have been added? It seems...

@dSKyNafinchin Mirage was the cloaking legend. He used to disappear.Then they made him more like his name.

@hayhor Haha dang it, I forgot about Mirage! I meant cloaking more as, an ability/passive that renders you invisible to enemy scan abilities, similar to the ghost perk keeping you off enemy radars on CoD. Just something to combat all the enemy scan abilities. Mirage can still be scanned while ult'd, I think? I mean, it scans all the clones, but still scans them. I cant remember if scans pick up Mirage while rez-cloaked or not, either.

Against scan, Mirage's current ult is arguably better, sending all sorts of people everywhere.
He's always been fun and popular, moreso now.

  @KelRiever He is more effective against scans now, that's for sure but he also hurts teammates because of all the footstep audio. The issue with disappearing original mirage was his footstep audio gave him away. Plus people would disappear right in front of you and then cry you knew where they went when you shot where it was obvious. If you disappeared behind cover and entered a noisy area you could make some great plays. But people don't do stuff like that. They just run in and complain when they die, which the current mirage allows more of.

    Great feedback, all! The more I thought about it over the weekend though, I definitely feel like it would need to be either a tac/ult ability (not passive), and would obviously need to have a cooldown/effect time in line with the scanning abilities that it is countering. Also, I feel like it would be too powerful if it canceled enemy pings AND cloaked the user visually, so I wouldn't even include that in the kit. Just have it counter the scans only.
    
    My main reason for the cloaking not being a passive, is just that it would be too powerful to have it be constant. I don't recall any current scan abilities having constant effect (even Seer has to ADS to use it, although there is not cooldown), so it wouldn't make sense to me to have this one constant. As a tac/ult, it would still be powerful, but the timing/cooldown aspect would (theoretically) keep the balance in check. Maybe also have it to where it doesn't cancel out the effect if you are already scanned, that way if BH/Seer scan you before you hit it, they can still see you like normal. Maybe let Valk see them with her ult, so there is at least 1 counter? Not sure. I haven't thought about that one enough yet, to form my opinion
    
    I have to agree about the Mirage footstep audio. My buddy is a Mirage main, and I have to deal with that all the dang time, Lmao! It is definitely great at distracting the enemy, but also hinders our own team a bit, sometimes.
